rest :)
I didnt realize I haven’t had a legit rest day in a while, and it showed last night while lifting. I could barely lift anything, I was tired, sore, and frustrated. As I am getting better at this oly lifting thing I need to be better about rest. As of right now my schedule looks like this
Monday-lifting/HITT 90mins
Tuesday-yoga or rest
Wednesday-Lifting/HITT 90mins
Thursday-active rest
Friday-Lifting HITT/90mins
Saturday-4-5mile run
Sunday-yoga and a short run
I hate rest days, but in order to be the best i can be I need to rest.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Mastering my protein pancake. Pb2!
Olympic Lifting
I have officially fallen in love with Olympic Lifting, 1 year from now I will compete! And i’m not talking about crossfit.
Protein pancakes Robin style:) 25g of protein in one pancake. Yumm:)
Ingredients 1serving
6tbs egg whites
1/2 scoop vanilla whey
Cinnamon tsp
Almond butter 1 tbs
Strawberries!
Mix egg whites with whey and cinnamon and cook like a pancake. Top with almond butter and strawberries.
Flex Friday. Lifting=life!
Alright #transformationtuesday first pic June of 2012 second pic April of 2013 it’s only a 5lb change but as you can see my body is really responding to #lifting, the scale isn’t everything!. I see a lot of transformation Tuesdays of skinny girls getting abs in 4weeks. This one is dedicated to all the normal girls out there getting FIT, it’s a hard uphill battle and it takes time but dedication pays off!!!
